La Fornace is a small family-owned company that traces its origins to the 18th century. Over time, the family of sharecroppers was able to achieve ownership of this tiny, prized parcel of Sangiovese Grosso. Today it is owned by Fabio Giannetti who assumed responsibility for the entire winery in 1994 as a young man. They produce, small quantities, of Brunello di Montalcino, Rosso di Montalcino, and in the best vintages a Brunello Riserva. The name of the winery is derived from an ancient brick-firing furnace unearthed on the property. Each of their wines is taken care of with wisdom and passion that is passed down from generation to generation.
Terre Nere began when Pascale Vallone bought a prime vineyard in the warm, coveted southeast part of Montalcino in 1996. It quickly became a family affair with his wife Piera and two children, Francesca and Frederico who planted the first cuttings as a weekend pastime. The release of their first brunello in 2002 helped grow the vineyard

Terre Nere has now risen to become one of the top wine producers in Tuscany,
Podere 414, now run by Simone Castelli, was purchased in the Maremma area of Scansano as a swampy, wild land. The estate's 13 hectares is now a certified organic estate growing high density, low yield wines with beautiful complexity and character. 414 is the house number given to the property from the governmental land authority following the redistribution of land to the farmers.
The Bertolino family behind Tenuta Olim Bauda have been producing wines in the heart of Piedmonte since 1961. The winemaking tradition has been handed down over several generations and is now spread over 100 hectares of organically farmed land. Through harmony with the land they produce a beautiful portfolio of wines including Barbera, nebbiolo chardonnay and Cortese.
